Hello Everyone,


Christmas is less than a month away now. Our Christmas lunch is almost full now and we're looking for volunteers who can help us set up, pack up and servservicece during the lunch. We're also looking for non persihable food items to donate to the those in need for Chrtsmas. There will be a box in the hall if you would like to donate. We are also taking in donations for our Christmas Lunch raffle, so please donate some Christmas-y items!

Looking for a fun way to connect and share some laughs? Join Faye  for an afternoon of board games and good company at the Hub! You can solve a mystery in Cluedo, test your smarts with Trivia,  rule the board in Monopoly or keep it classic with a friendly game of cards


Whether you're a seasoned strategist or just love a bit of light-hearted fun, there's something for everyone. Bring your competitive spirit—or just your love of laughter!


 

Explore Physical Wellness at Connect 60+


Our Connect 60+ programme next week takes on physical wellness. Physical wellness is the necessary condition to living independently as we age, a goal shared by many people. Lifestyle choices that can maintain or improve health and functional ability include engaging in physical activity, choosing healthy foods with appropriate nutrition, getting adequate sleep, managing stress, limiting alcohol intake,not smoking, having regular check-ups and following medical recommendations


This week we'll be led by Hannes who will teach you some exercises you can do at home.

Be Confident - My Future Care


We all want to have a say in what happen in the last part of our lives.  By making plans tht cover your future car, lifestyle, health and finances, you're not only working out what you want, you are also making things easier on those around you.  This process is called Advance Care Planning.


In this FREE workshop we will cover informtation on what's involved in Advance Care Plannin, how to talk about your wishes for the last stages of your life wuith your family , loved ones, and health care providers.  The workshop is suitable for all members of the community.  You can be any age or have any level of health.
