We hope everyone has a great weekend!


We've got many exciting events happening at the Hub in the coming weeks . In addition to some great events happening over Seniors week in November, our Connect 60+ programme starts next week too.


First up on October 25, we see the amazing Celesta back with a great sound meditation class that will follow a Boost Your Wellbeing workshop by Helping minds. Boost Your Wellbeing workshop is all about taking care of your emotional and mental health During this 1-hour workshop, you will learn how to increase your resilience, nourish your character strengths, and iving out the Mental Healthy WA “Act – Belong – Commit” message. They will also talk about investigating protective factors and how to check in with a friend.

Some important updates:

  • Please note there is no Art Class on Monday since Bella is unwell.

  • Yoga with Natasha starts at 12.00pm from Friday Oct 25.


 

Sparkling Appreciation Evening


Following two popular wine tasting events, Gerry is back with another amazing wine tasting evening at the Hub. This time, he will share his knowledge of the world of sparkling wines. Sample a carefully curated selection of white and rose sparkling wines and discover the rich diversity within them just in time for the festive season!

Melbourne Cup Lunch


Kick up your heels and get amongst all the fun of Melbourne Cup Day at the Village Hub on Tuesday November 5. Delight in a two-course menu made by our amazing volunteers and share a drink with friends. There will also be a sweepstake and cash bar for drinks.

Gather your friends and experience all that Cup Day has to offer at your Village Hub.

Next week's Community Lunch on Tuesday, October 8 will be Chciken Schnitzel with Mashed Potatoes, Peas and Corn followed by Fruit Salad and Icecream.
